This layout depicts a fictitious extension of the narrow gauge Pinzgauer Localbahn from Krimmml joining the Zillertalbahn at Zell am Ziller, thus connecting two Austrian tourist centres. To meet traffic demands the line is electrified throughout, but steam and diesel still operate.
Alongside the station is a factory complex which generates heavy freight traffic, bringing in oil, coal and materials, and also taking the product out. The factory has its own shunting locomotives. Passenger trains range from electric hauled long distance to diesel hauled local services and include occasional steam hauled specials.
All stock is ready to run by ROCO, Liliput and Bemo. Track is Peco 009. Overhead masts are Sommerfeldt with scratch built gantries and catenary.
